WELCOME TO THE ART PROCESS!

Each piece of my artwork starts with gathering donated magazines, which serve as the foundation of my process.

Many hours are spent cutting out pure, solid colors from pages, giving me creative freedom. I do not modify the magazine paper, the color in the artwork is the original color from the magazine.

These pieces are sorted into color-coded bins.

When working on a project I sift through the bins to find colors to use. Each piece of paper is carefully selected, cut, and glued by hand.

This time intensive process typically takes between 20-40 hours from start to finish. This is dependent on the amount of detail and colors, not including the time to cut out the materials.

Each work is a unique, eco-friendly labor of love.
